Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 5th November 2026 Next review: February 2027
Applies to: uk.callawaygolfpreowned.com and our EU country sites
Our commitment
Callaway Golf Pre-Owned wants every golfer to be able to browse and buy certified pre-owned Callaway and Odyssey equipment without barriers, including golfers who use screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. This statement explains the standard we work to, how we test against it, where we currently fall short, and how to tell us if you hit a problem.
This statement replaces our previous approach, which relied on a third-party assistive technology overlay (eSSENTIAL Accessibility, now part of Level Access). That application has been retired. Our current approach is built on testing and fixing the site's own code with Localised UK Limited, which operates this site as an authorised reseller of Callaway Golf Europe Ltd, rather than adding a layer on top of it.
Scope of this statement
This statement covers the shopping experience on:
• uk.callawaygolfpreowned.com, our certified pre-owned store for UK customers
• Our EU country sites (such as be.callawaygolfpreowned.com), our certified pre-owned stores for customers across the EU
It covers browsing and filtering products, product detail and condition pages, cart, checkout, and account areas. It does not cover third-party pages we link to but don't control, such as a payment provider's page once you leave checkout. Our trade-in service is not yet available; it will be tested and added to this statement before it launches.
Conformance status
Partially conformant.
Our target standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which also meets the requirements of EN 301 549, the standard used under the European Accessibility Act. "Partially conformant" means most of the site meets this standard, with the specific known exceptions listed below, which we are actively working through.
We assess all our sites against the same standard, so our EU sites (in scope of the European Accessibility Act since 28 June 2025) and the UK site (assessed under the Equality Act 2010) are held to the same bar.
Our core shopping journey (browsing, filtering, product pages, basket and checkout) has been tested with automated checks, keyboard-only navigation and a desktop screen reader. Our search, account and help pages, including the contact form, have not yet been tested, and nor has screen reader use on iPhone. This testing is due to be completed by 30 November 2026, and this statement will be updated with the results.
Using this site
Some features that may help if you use assistive technology:
• The site can be navigated using a keyboard alone, including product filters and the cart drawer.
• Product images include descriptive alt text identifying the club.
• Condition grades (Like New, Very Good, Good, Average) are always shown as text, never colour alone.
• Form fields on checkout, account, and contact pages have visible labels and clear error messages.
• Text can be resized up to 200% using your browser's zoom without content being cut off or overlapping.
How we meet this standard
We take the following measures, in line with Annex I of the European Accessibility Act:
• Accessibility requirements are included in the brief for any new page template or checkout change.
• Localised, which operates this site, runs an automated accessibility scan and a manual check (keyboard and screen reader) before any change to checkout, cart, product pages, navigation, or forms goes live.
• A full audit of both sites is carried out every quarter, and before any major platform update.
• Issues are graded by how much they block a customer from completing a purchase: issues that would stop a purchase are fixed before release, other significant issues within 5 working days, and minor issues are listed below until fixed.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following gaps and are working to resolve them. This list is updated whenever our quarterly audit changes:

How we test
Testing combines automated tools with manual checks, since automated scans alone catch roughly a third of issues:
• Automated: axe accessibility checks, run against every change to a priority page or flow.
• Manual: keyboard-only navigation, screen reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver on desktop and iPhone, and colour contrast verification.
• Cadence: before every relevant deploy, plus a full-site audit every quarter.
Audit records are kept for as long as the site is in operation and can be provided to a national regulator on request.
